Pocket Genealogist 2.96.8 was released yesterday. Pocket Genealogist is a genealogy program for Pocket PC/Windows Mobile devices. This is a fairly major release that had changes affecting its use with the following software:
* Windows Mobile 5.0
* Family Historian
* GenBridge (Family Tree Maker and PAF)
* Genbox
* Legacy
* RootsMagic.

There is currently a public beta of Pocket Genealogist 3.0 available.
Telling Stories Software Announced
November 16, 2005
Telling Stories has been announced today. It’s from MyFamily.com, the company behind Family Tree Maker genealogy software. It retails for $29.95, or if you pick up the Deluxe version, it’s $49.95 - the Deluxe edition integrates with Family Tree Maker. Both appear to be able to import data from Family Tree Maker. It requires Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP.
