The Next Generation of Genealogy Sitebuilding 5.1.1 (TNG)

The Next Generation of Genealogy Sitebuilding (TNG) 5.1.1 is now available for registered TNG 5.x users. TNG is an online genealogy colaboration application. It uses PHP and a database (MySQL, etc.) and allows families to collaborate on genealogy research - the data can be updated in realtime by authorized users, without having to upload anything and GEDCOM files for local use can be downloaded from this application- this is a true genealogy applications. It also provides an easy way for viewing genealogy information.
A big advantage TNG has over, say the output from an offline genealogy program, is that you do not have to upload and/or manage 100s or 1000s of individual files - you can make your changes online, or upload a GEDCOM file and us it to populate a family tree in TNG.
The biggest changes in version 5.1.1 are an improved installation procedure, and the Advanced Search now includes the ability to search on Spouse’s last/maiden name, and it has been further optimized to speed up searches.

PhpGedView 4.0 beta 2

PhpGedView 4.0 beta 4 is now available for downloading (you can download it here). This is fourth beta that is a part of a major revision of the PhpGedView, which is an online genealogy application (requiring a web host, PHP, and some kind of database). This version added some features for working with the Random Media Block as well as allowing click on chart images, random images, etc.
PhpGedView parses GEDCOM 5.5 genealogy files and displays them on the internet in formats and charts that you are familiar with. It also allows relatives to edit their genealogy online and collaborate together on their research.

GenoPro Version 2.b15d (beta)

GenoPro Version 2.b15d (beta) is available. GenoPro is a Windows genealogy program oriented towards representing your family graphically ( through the use of charts, reports, etc.). The main change in this version is the privacy filter was improved (allowing one to optionally keep the names and date of births).
What’s New/Changed/Fixed:
- Improved the privacy filter to optionally keep the names and date of births.
- Added a source field to the picture object, as well as a list of pictures to the source object.
- Fixed crashing bug while browsing pictures.
- Fixed the AutoArrange to use the explicit child rank (if provided).
