PhpGedView 4.0 beta 7

Another beta for PhpGedView, the seventh this time (and perhaps the final?). PhpGedView is an online genealogy program that utilizes PHP, MySQL, etc., in order to allow collaboration between multiple researchers/genealogists over the internet. You can edit all of the information available, as well as add to it, you can create privacy restrictions (logins required, information of living individuals restricted, etc.). You can download and test it here.
Updates/Developer’s Note:
There are many significant changes and improvements in version 4.0. The most notible change is that version 4.0 no longer includes support for the built-in index mode. This means that version 4.0 requires that you use one of the supported SQL databases. We will continue to maintain the 3.3.x releases for continued support of index mode until PHP 5.x with built-in SQLite is more broadly available.
Version 4.0 also includes enhanced web services developed in partnership with students from Neumont University.

Genbox Family History 3.6.4

Genbox Family History version 3.6.4, a Windows genealogy application, is out and available for download. This is a fairly large update (see the release notes linked below for the full list) and is a free update for current users.

Brother’s Keeper 6.2.16

Brother’s Keeper version 6.2.16 has been released just shortly after the 6.2.15 release. As you know, it’s a Windows genealogy application. This is a free update for existing Brother’s Keeper 6.x users. If you have BK already installed, check the “Help” and then “About” menus to see what version you have. This update consists of three bug fixes.
Fixed
- Register Modified NGSQ Report - the generation number after given name is italic when Printing from BK - was that way only if creating RTF from 10-25-05 until now.
- Under certain conditions when printing Group sheets with pictures and notes, sometimes there would be a large space before the start of the notes.
- Global search and replace Media files, was not working for Family Media files.
