Pocket Genealogist 2.96.1 (Pre-Release)

There is a new pre-release of Pocket Genealogist, v2.96.1 that is available for download, and offers fixes that include:
* Surname/Given Name processing
* Fixes for some problems when using 2-way sync in the Greek language
* Fixes for “Customize” screens that were affecting Windows 95/98/ME Users
Fixes for Windows genealogy applications:
* Changed PAF/FTM Genbridge imports to set the living/dead flag based on presence of a burial or death event. (You must re-import to see this change)
* Fix to Legacy V5 2-way synchronizing. (Introduced with 2.96 - would cause a “Changes also found in Legacy” warning which would stop the 2-way sync) Version 6 syncs were fine.
* Changed the RootsMagic profile to export notes in the proper format for RootsMagic. (Break lines within a word instead of between words)

A quick note from Bruce at RootsMagic, Inc. regarding previous versions of RootsMagic or Family Origins and the $19.95 upgrade price to RootsMagic v3:
“the 19.95 upgrade is available for any RootsMagic or Family Origins user.”
For those of you who were using older versions of RootsMagic, or are still using Family Origins, there’s your answer.
