In a sign of how popular genealogy is, as well as how solid of a app GRAMPS is, GRAMPS was added to the Fedora Core.
GRAMPS is a GNOME genealogy program for Linux and FreeBSD that allows you to easily build and keep track of your family tree.
Note: As of Sep. 5th, 2005, the Fedora Core was showing an older version of GRAMPS. This is normal as the Core is just that – a core around which everything is built, and usually they do not update very often.
