GenealogyJ (GenJ) v2.4.1 has been released – it’s a patch for 2.4/0 (you can read about the major changes that version 2.4.0 contained in this story. GenealogyJ is a viewer and editor for genealogic data, suitable for hobbyist, family historian and genealogy researcher. GenJ supports the Gedcom standard, is written in Java and offers many views like family tree, table, timeline, geography and more. It can be downloaded here
Legacy Family Tree Version 6.0.0.83 is now available for downloading/updating. If you already own Legacy 6.0 Deluxe, you can update to the latest version by clicking “Install and Download Now” from the Legacy Home tab (from within Legaacy, of course). Standard users of this Windows genealogy program need to visit the download page to get the latest update.
New: Increased the field length of the Marriage User ID to 50 to match the field length of the Individual’s User ID

Last week, Brother’s Keeper version 6.2.14 was released. It’s a genealogy application for Windows and requires Windows 95 or NT, and on up. This is a free update for existing Brother’s Keeper 6x users. It can be downloaded from here (bkwin.org).
