The Wholly Genes Newsletter, 24 March 2006, Issue 2006-4 has been emailed out, and should be online shortly. Wholly Genes publish and distributeThe Master Genealogist (TMG), a Windows-based genealogy application, in addition to other genealogy-related items.
GeneoTree v1.12 is another online genealogy application, and like Genmod, it’s an application we’ve not mentioned before. It’s free/open-source, and is web-based as well. It’s main homepage is located at GeneoTree.sourceforge.net, and it uses PHP and MySQL, and is based off of GEDCOM files.

Genmod 1.0 Beta 2 – Genmod, which provides “users with a graphical interface to maintain and display their genealogy data through a web interface” is a program we’ve not mentioned before, and it’s nearing a full 1.0 release. It’s an open source web-based genealogy application that uses MySQL, PHP, Javascript, and CSS.
